Romantic + Natural Photography
Selecting a photographer for your wedding is one of your most important decisions.
I love telling your story through my pictures.
Just natural effortless photography that shows you, your family, your wedding and most importantly the love you have for each other.
Here’s a little insight into how I’ll be there with you throughout your wedding day — capturing every moment, big and small.
Without missing out on those beautiful pictures you can hang on your wall for years to come.
Especially after all that hard work! You don’t want to be standing around for hours…you want to be enjoying your canapés!
Your dad telling you how proud he is of you, your mum with a tear in her eye, your friends dancing and singing their hearts out, the kids stuffing their pockets full of sweets!
The borrowed jewellery passed down through generations, a memorial for those who couldn’t be there, the blue pin on your dress — these are the details that tell your story.
Trusting each other
Well, don’t worry, you’re in very safe hands!
Why? I pride myself on getting to know you not just your wedding plans, making you feel relaxed and comfortable, so you’re not worrying about how the pictures look, and creating beautiful pictures that really tell the story of you, your day and your love for one another.
I once had a bride message me the day after her wedding laughing because everyone kept asking if we knew each other beforehand – they all thought we had been friends for years! I absolutely loved that feedback because that’s exactly what I want you to feel on your special day – just trusting me to do my thing and get exactly what you envision from your wedding day.
I’m going to take a guess and say you’re not really into the traditional, formal wedding photographs, am I right?
Well don’t worry! I’m not into that either!
I’m all about capturing the natural candid moments happening in front of me. Obviously, you still want couple’s pictures and a handful of groups and that’s not a problem. I work efficiently and quickly to capture your groups without you feeling like a statue standing around for hours! I may be short and softly spoken at times, but one thing my years working as a photojournalist taught me was how to control a crowd and get them listening to me, all without bossing people about and with a big smile on my face!
My couples pictures are natural, relaxed and effortless. I take you for a nice walk, giving you some precious time together and to let it all sink in that you’re actually married! I scout out the backgrounds that I know you’ll love and then let you be you. I give little prompt like “tell them how you felt seeing them walk down the aisle”, “pull them in tight and give them a great big smooch like nobody’s watching” and “whisper in their ear what you’re going to do later” (which is often drink too much and fall asleep!). But overall, I let you be you and I make the “portraits” feel effortless so your true personalities shine through!
If this sounds like you, then we are going to get along just fine:
And knows what you need before you do
I really do know my stuff but you’ll find that out when we have a chat, (and not just the photography side).
With years of experience and a true love for weddings, I have a wealth of knowledge to share. My trusty bum bag on the day is full up with emergency essentials should we ever need them such as pins, hair clips and plasters!
I am your trusty sidekick at all the steps along the way and on the day itself, offering advice and guidance wherever and whenever you need it!
I know all the tricks: how to relax the camera-shy, bring out that beautiful smile from a tired child, get those magical effortless couples pictures and how to photograph your wedding without getting in anyone’s way!
I let you do you and in return I ask you let me do me! It’s the perfect combination!

Moments of Calm

I’ll arrive bright and early, usually around two hours before the ceremony, to document those precious pre-wedding moments — the excitement, the nerves, and all the joyful chaos while you’re getting pampered and ready for your big day.
If you and your partner are getting ready in different locations, no worries! We can arrange a second photographer so both stories are captured as they unfold.

Capturing the Kiss

This is the big moment — time to meet the love of your life at the end of the aisle. Take their hand, look into their eyes, and soak it all in. It’ll go by in a flash, but I’ll be there to capture every glance, every tear, and every smile.

The Confetti & The Couple

You did it — you’re officially married! As soon as that first kiss is sealed and you walk back up the aisle, I’ll be ready to gather your guests for a fun, joyful confetti tunnel to celebrate.
Next, I’ll steal just a few moments of your guests’ time for a big group photo, and then whisk through your group shots efficiently so everyone (including you!) can get back to the drinks and delicious canapés as soon as possible.
At a time that works for you, I’ll take you both for a quiet little walk — a chance to breathe, enjoy a moment together, and capture some beautiful, relaxed portraits now that you are actually married.

Show off those moves!

After you’ve enjoyed your meal, listened to some wonderful speeches and cut the cake, its time for your first dance. I’ll be there, on the sidelines, capturing the love, the laughter, and everything in between. And when the dance floor fills up I’ll be right there too singing along, snapping the fun, and capturing the wild, wonderful energy of your party.
Then, when the night gets a little too wild (hello, slightly tipsy relatives), I’ll say my goodbyes, leaving you to party the night away without fear of those, um, “memorable” dance moves being documented forever.

Obviously the sooner you can let me have your dates the better as I can often be booked for certain dates a year in advance. If you don’t have an exact date confirmed I’m always happy to pencil you in.
I will get some ‘sneak peeks’ of the wedding to you the very next day.
The full gallery is usually ready within five weeks, but it can take a little longer during peak season if things are super busy, I’ll always keep you in the loop.
I edit out the blurred, blinks and duplicates but you get all the photos from the day for you to share with your friends and family.
Whilst I am mainly based in the Essex area I am happy to travel wherever you need me to. I’ve done weddings in Kent, Surrey, Norfolk and even Wales.
I offer a range of packages to suit your budget. You may be having a simple registry office ceremony and then a small recaption, that’s fine and I can accommodate this with my simple package. However for a larger wedding I suggest my Premium package, this include; pre-wedding sessions of the bride and groom getting ready, the whole day and evening including that all important first dance and party.
That’s exactly what I love to hear! Just send me a message and we’ll take it from there. We can set up a call or hop on Zoom, whatever works best for you. Then I can hear all about your plans and what matters most to you both.
It’s also a great chance for you to get to know me better and make sure I’m the 100% perfect fit for your day. Once we’ve had a proper chat and you’re feeling excited to move forward, we’ll get your date secured and the fun can truly begin!
I totally understand what it feels like to be camera-shy, in fact, it’s one of the reasons I fell in love with being behind the lens instead of in front of it. But here’s the thing: you don’t have to feel that way on your wedding day.
My goal is to make your photography experience feel effortless, natural, and genuinely enjoyable. Over the years, I’ve learned how to strike the perfect balance between gentle direction and letting real moments unfold. I know the little tricks that bring out your most authentic, confident self. No stiff poses, no over-editing, just the most beautiful, honest version of you.
And yes, I’m also a pro at catching those candid, blink-and-you-miss-it moments, like your dad (who swore he wouldn’t smile for a single photo) mid-laugh during your vows. Those are the moments that make your wedding story truly yours, and I’m here to capture every one of them.
Then it rains, and we roll with it! A little water won’t dampen your joy, and it definitely won’t stop us from creating something beautiful. There’s a lovely saying: “A knot tied in the rain is never undone.” So embrace it, enjoy the moment, and I’ll be right there with you, capturing the magic.
Rain can actually make for some incredibly romantic, creative photos and with a few schedule tweaks, we can always find time to sneak away for those perfect shots. I promise, no wedding has ever been totally ruined by a little rain.
But you can always bury some sausages the night before for some extra luck!
Absolutely without question. Honestly, it breaks my heart that this still needs to be asked, but I completely understand why.
Everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and celebrated exactly as they are. I welcome all love and all people, always. You, your partner, your family, you’ll be treated with the same warmth, respect, and care as I’d give my own loved ones. Love is love, and it’s an honor to capture it in all its forms.
Of course. My background as a photojournalist for a local newspaper gave me the incredible opportunity to work in diverse, multicultural communities, documenting events from a wide range of religious and cultural traditions. That experience not only gave me a deep respect for different customs, but also a genuine love for learning about them.
While I may not have photographed a wedding exactly like yours, every wedding is unique. I approach each one with curiosity, care, and professionalism. I take the time to research, ask questions, and understand what’s important to you, so nothing is missed and you can relax knowing you’re in good hands.
For me, it’s all about capturing the love, the meaning, and the moments that matter most, no matter what form they take.
Do you like what you hear?
The more we get to know each other the better the whole experience will be.
